When is Cykelvasan 2027?<\/h2>

The official programme lists Cykelvasan 90 for Saturday 14 August 2027. \u00d6ppet Sp\u00e5r, Cykelvasan 45 and Cykelvasan 30 take place on Friday 13 August. Registration is open at our check on 25 September 2026.<\/p>

The names are not always the exact distances: the 2027 programme lists 90 and \u00d6ppet Sp\u00e5r at 92 km, 45 at 45 km and 30 at 32 km. Plan your effort using the published distance. Check the official programme before booking: it remains the reference for updated dates, fees and entry conditions.<\/p>

Which event should you choose?<\/h2>

Cykelvasan 90 is the full-distance MTB option, listed for competition and leisure participation. Read the relevant entry category carefully. Consider how long you normally ride off-road, whether you can eat and drink comfortably on the bike and how you feel in the final hour of a long outing. Choose for your preparation, not simply because friends have entered.<\/p>

\u00d6ppet Sp\u00e5r offers the full 92 km on Friday as a leisure event. The 2027 programme explicitly lists MTB and gravel for this ride. It may suit a group wanting a shared full-distance experience. Check equipment rules for the event you enter rather than applying \u00d6ppet Sp\u00e5r\u2019s listing to every race.<\/p>

Cykelvasan 45 is a shorter 45 km target if you are building towards longer rides or want a more manageable day during a holiday. Test your riding position, tyres, repair supplies and food beforehand. Shorter does not mean that preparation is unnecessary.<\/p>

Cykelvasan 30 is presented by the organiser as the family-oriented option: 32 km, starting in Oxberg, with participation from the year a rider turns eight. Read the full conditions and choose a pace around the least experienced rider, not the fastest adult.<\/p>

Registration and race information<\/h2>

Select the exact event and category before paying. Confirm your participant details and the current fee: prices change by registration period, so a price copied from an earlier edition may be misleading. Keep your confirmation accessible while travelling.<\/p>

Before departure, return to the current instructions for number collection, start arrangements and equipment requirements. Save the rider information for offline access. Do not use a previous edition\u2019s timetable as your final itinerary.<\/p>

Plan the start, finish and return journey<\/h2>

A point-to-point trip needs two plans: getting yourself and your bike to the start, and returning to accommodation afterwards. Map both ends of your chosen event before booking. Accommodation convenient for the finish is not automatically convenient for the start.<\/p>

If using a transfer, verify bike carriage and whether a separate booking is required. If friends drive, agree meeting points using current parking and traffic information. Allow time for number collection, bike assembly and small mechanical problems.<\/p>

For a family or club, write one shared itinerary: who carries tools, where spare clothing stays and how you will reconnect after finishing. Avoid relying on everyone staying together throughout the ride.<\/p>
