Amstel Gold Race 2027 Toerversie takes place on Saturday 17 April. For riders planning a cycling trip to South Limburg, the amateur tour is the relevant event—not the professional race. This guide explains what is confirmed, where to check registration and how to prepare your bicycle before travelling with friends or a club.

Your bike. Your name. Your Limburg ride.

Personalise your bicycle and cycling helmet with your name and flag. Check the spelling, choose your pack and order early enough for production and delivery to your country.

Amstel Gold Race 2027: date and registration

The organiser confirms Saturday 17 April for the Toerversie. Its registration FAQ announces a one-month application period starting on 1 October 2026, followed by a draw in week 45. Applying does not guarantee a place. Use the official registration page to confirm the live status, conditions and your eventual entry.

The website can contain older notices alongside the new edition. Check that your application refers to 2027 and save the organiser’s confirmation. Avoid booking non-refundable arrangements solely on the assumption that your application will be selected.

Choose a route you can enjoy

The current participation FAQ lists six distances: 65, 100, 125, 150, 200 and 240 km. Check the final route and start instructions for your chosen distance before travelling. A shorter route can leave more room for riding with companions and enjoying the day; the longest option demands a different preparation plan.

Practise repeated climbing, controlled descending and eating while riding. Choose a distance that matches your recent training, not only your ambitions. Test your gearing on local hills and keep the equipment familiar rather than changing everything in the final week.

Plan collection and arrival

The official FAQ places regular participant collection at the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg. It asks for identification and the collection email. Confirm the final timetable and any special arrangements in your rider information; company teams can have different instructions.

Plan accommodation, bicycle transport and the return journey together. Save your booking details offline, agree a meeting point and leave a buffer for queues. If you arrive by car, use the organiser’s current parking directions rather than following another edition’s itinerary.

A practical bicycle checklist

Inspect tyres, brakes, shifting and wheel attachment before departure. Pack repair supplies suited to your own bicycle, familiar food and clothing for changing spring weather. Check the bicycle again after transport. A short test ride is more useful than discovering a mechanical issue at the start.

Keep the official number and any required identification visible. A personalised name sticker is an optional finishing touch; it does not replace the organiser’s number, chip or other event materials. Apply it to a clean, dry, suitable surface according to the product instructions.

Prepare your name and flag before the trip

Amstel Gold Race 2027 is a good occasion to coordinate the look of a club trip while keeping each rider’s own name. Choose a contrasting lettering colour and check the name carefully before completing your order. A clear detail on the top tube helps show the individual style of your bicycle in trip photos.

Order with time for production and international shipping. Consult the current estimates for your destination rather than assuming delivery by race day. Pegatin offers personalisation, not guaranteed recovery of equipment or any official connection to the organiser.
