Silber: three passes, still a serious challenge
The 2026 Silber route covers Gotthard, Nufenen and Furka, with around 3,100 metres of climbing and an Andermatt start and finish. The published description specifies the main-road descent towards Airolo rather than the cobbled Tremola. A shorter option is not an easy option: mountain gearing and comfortable descending remain important.
Bronze: two passes with different start logistics
The 2026 Bronze route starts at the Nordic Center Goms in Ulrichen and finishes in Andermatt via Nufenen and Gotthard, with around 2,100 metres of ascent.
