Giant Roam: Back on track for 2022

If you are familiar with the cycling world, chances are that you have heard about Giant in the past. This company has created some pretty excellent bikes throughout the years, and for the next year, they have some surprises prepared for people, such as the Giant Roam return.

What can we expect about the Giant Roam 2022 model?

As a bike that we have seen in the past, we can say that we want to see the same stuff again. No matter how good it was, people want to see some changes.

And that’s exactly what Giant meant when building the Roam newest model. They changed a lot of stuff to make one of the most reliable models an elite bicycle for demanding cyclists.

The very first thing that we have to say about the bike is that it will offer more agility and control than the previous model. This is possible due to some changes in the frame of the bike, which is great.

Also, people will feel more comfortable while riding this bike. That’s another improvement coming from the company because they know that long rides can be hard to achieve, but the Giant Roam is ready to leave that aside.

So far, we have seen some improvement coming from the company’s side, but what about the components they are using? Well, surprisingly for everyone, we will see Shimano on the Roam.

We can tell that there’s a mix of powerful components as well as improvements on how people will feel riding the bike. But, where’s the frame? Giant doesn’t want to know anything about carbon, they are using aluminum on this bike.

All this sounds impressive, no? Well, maybe we should take a deeper look at what they offer on the components and the aluminum frame with more detail.

Shimano is back again on Giant bikes

One of the biggest companies out there when talking about bike components is without a doubt Shimano. That’s something that companies know, especially Giant.

That’s why they decided to go with them one more time, but they also added some other components to the formula to give a more unique result on the Giant Roam. Let’ see the final result.

As we can see, there are some Shimano components. But also, there are other gears that we can see coming from a different company. Yet, there’s no need to worry about it, Tektro is a pretty reliable manufacturer of bike components.

Is the Giant aluminum frame still reliable?

Some bikes of the company are not adapted to the mold that most bikes tend to follow nowadays. We do see that the carbon frame tends to win the race, but Giant wants to make a difference in the market.

People will find that the Giant Roam uses a high-performance material that enhances the frame and gives a better feeling while using it. We are talking about the 6061 alloy, which is one of the most strong and lightweight materials out there.

Is it better than the usual carbon frame? Well, that’s something that we’ll see during the next year, but we have high hopes for it.

High hopes on the Giant Roam for the 2022 season

Once that we have seen all that Giant has to offer to cyclists, we can truly say that they focused on giving quality and comfiness over everything else. For us, that’s a winning formula, and we’ll surely see the Giant Roam achieve during the next year.
